Why Superyacht Auctions?

What have superyachts and Superyacht Auctions in common?
Maximum attention.

Broker & owner looking for fast transaction
The Superyacht Auctions concept is intended as a new resource for traditional brokerage houses, not as a competitor. Superyacht Auctions gives brokers and other sellers in the superyacht industry new opportunities to generate no-stress and especially fast sales.
Every principal who brings a superyacht to our auctions, receives a bonus in the amount of 50 % of the auction commission.

Safe
All super yachts are sold in the condition in which they are at the time of acceptance ("as is where is"). That is why every online auction, tender sale or public auction is preceded by one or two inspection days (Saturdays and Sundays). That gives potential bidders every opportunity to check and verify the superyacht before bidding. Bids are irrevocable and unconditional.

Simple
The owner and agent remain in control throughout the auction process. The owner sets a reserve price and ultimately decides whether he does or does not accept the high bid. Inspection days (in cooperation with Superyacht Auctions) and the financial transaction will be handled by the agent.

Reliable
Both our online and public auctions take place under the official supervision of a well-established (nautical) bailiff firm or notary public.

Professional auctioneers
Superyacht Auctions is a Chartered Ships & Yachts Auctioneer (qualification issued by the Dutch Federation of Authorised Valuers/Appraisers, Brokers and Auctioneers of Moveable Goods) and sponsor of Dutch Association of S+P Ship- and Yacht Brokers.
